HFEE Endowment
HFEE’s Endowment demonstrates our long-term commitment to the students of the Hayward Community School District. We are committed to growing the endowment so we can meet an ever-increasing need for improving the educational opportunities for the youth of our community. We accept cash donations, gifts of property or stock, insurance policies, and annuities. We would be happy to visit with you or your financial representative to set up a donation that meets your wishes.
HFEE Directed Gifts
HFEE realizes that the needs of our students in the Hayward Community School District are increasing at a rapid rate. Our district has lost thousands of dollars in state and federal aid due to pressures on the state and federal budgets.
Our district is very responsible with controlling costs, but the need for improving the educational opportunities is increasing. Individuals and businesses can make directed tax-deductible gifts to the district through HFEE to make an immediate impact. The majority of our students are low to moderate income and many have special needs. Directed gifts will provide an immediate impact on the educational outcomes of students.
HFEE is pleased to share that we have received a $1000 donation from Darlene Kirchdoerfer, fondly known around the area as "Mrs. K." Her career in education spanned 35 and a half years. She was a Physical Education and Health Education teacher in the Cameron School District, and in Hayward, she taught Career Exploration for 6th and 8th grades and Adaptive Special Education Classes. Since retiring, she loves to travel, sing in the Lutheran Church choir, help her family and others by serving and volunteering, and increase her knowledge of WWII. Education has always been her number one passion. HFEE is grateful for support from friends like Mrs. K.
