The Lee Bonicatto Memorial Golf Outing was a huge success! The rain stopped just in time, and it was a great afternoon of golf.

HFEE President Michelle Forrester presented long-time board member Harold Treland with a plaque for his service. We awarded trophies to the top men's, women's and mixed teams and many people took home great items from the raffle baskets and silent auction.

We are thankful for our many sponsors and donors, for the golfers who shared their resources, to our volunteers, and to Hayward Golf Club and The Steakhouse & Lodge for excellent food before and after golf.

This event was truly a community effort, and we are grateful for the financial resources we raised to increase our endowment fund. The proceeds will be used to provide grants to teachers and staff throughout the Hayward community school district for educational projects.
