Funded Requests

Below are our funded requests. Teachers may update us about funded requests here.

The Hayward Foundation for Educational Enrichment, along with Hayward Middle School, would like to thank Jesse and Layla Beckerman for funding the middle school tutoring program. Jesse and Layla learned of the need for such a program through the HFEE Wish List Portal last fall. The tutoring program kicked off in early 2026 and will continue to support students through the end of the year.

This is just one of the many ways HFEE is working to connect local donors with funding opportunities throughout the district—allowing you to see your donation dollars go right to work making an impact in the lives of our students.

The high school art department has been in need of proper art storage for years, and thanks to our Wish List Portal, a generous donation from Beehive Botanicals finally made it happen.

Special thanks to the generous families and Ameriprise Financial Services out of Hayward who purchased items off the wish list portal for Mrs. Petit's 4k Dramatic Play Request. Dramatic play is a crucial part of a young child's development. This play area will help foster social skills, literacy, imagination, and FUN!

“Thank you to the entire crew at LP of Hayward for graciously donating to our Hayward High School Band and Choir Senior Banners. They turned out amazing, and you helped offset the cost. Each Senior Band and Choir student will get their banner before graduation at no cost to the Seniors. Thank you, LP, for making the difference!” —Hayward Music Boosters

A special thank you to the family that made the purchase and donation of the much-needed playground balls for the middle school. The previous playground balls were cracked, had missing covers, and there was a limited supply. Students play with volleyballs, basketballs, soccer balls, kickballs, and footballs on a daily basis during lunchtime, before school starts, and during their outdoor ACHIEVE time. Students benefit tremendously from the physical activity, time outdoors interacting with others, and a break in their day.
