Planting Comfort, Growing Readers

Request Description: These leaf rockers would be amazing in my classroom because they will create a cozy, welcoming reading environment that encourages students to slow down, settle in, and truly engage with books. Many children focus better when they're comfortable and able to move slightly, and these seats provide sensory input without being distracting. By offering flexible seating options, I will support different learning styles, promote independence, and help students associate reading with comfort and joy. These seats will turn my classroom library center into a space where my students want to read-and where literacy can grow naturally.

Amount Needed: $80.

Positive Impact & Student Benefit: Improves Focus and Reading Stamina, Supports Different Learning Style and Needs, Encourages a Love of Reading, Promotes Self Regulation and Independence, Enhances Classroom Climate and Inclusive and Accessible for All Students.

Grade Levels: 1st grade.

Timeline: Once received, the leaf chairs will be promptly integrated into the classroom environment and utilized throughout the school year to support literacy development.
