Screen-Free Picture-Taking to Tell Our Story!

This is a Donation & Sponsorship Opportunity

Request Description: We are seeking a donation of $560 or 8 Camp Snap cameras for students to use while we are learning/on adventures in the community. Camp Snap cameras are digital cameras without screens (feels like using film cameras!).

Amount Needed: $560 to pay for 8 Camp Snap cameras.

Positive Impact & Student Benefit: This donation will allow students to tell the story of our learning at Northern Waters (field days, camping trips, projects, community service, etc.) without using their phones! So often, when we are learning out in the community, students ask to use their phones to take pictures, but then they get sucked into other aspects of their phones. Camp Snap cameras are designed to help children stay present in the moment and fully engage with their surroundings, without being distracted by screen time. Tons of great pictures to document our adventures without the screens!

Grade Levels: 6-12

Timeline: This school year — ideally, as soon as possible.

You may purchase the cameras online with the link provided and have them shipped directly to the Northern Waters Environmental School.
